The historic square and surrounding streets in McDonough have 15 Re-Taking History Markers embedded into the sidewalks. Come see what has changed and what has not as you walk past cool shops and great restaurants in the downtown area. McDonough is located 20 minutes south of Atlanta just 2.5 miles off of I-75 at exit 218. Travel east to the town square. There is FREE parking available, just look for the signs. If you park on the Square on weekdays before 6pm you will have to put a few quarters in the parking meter.
